REO IN JAPAN I 2023

One of my favorite shoots to date! In my absolute favorite place on earth, Japan. I connected with Reo, a Japanese model, on Instagram, and we set up this photoshoot in Shinjuku. Location was perfect and working with Reo was super fun. Fun fact, we had to rely on Google Translate for communication during this entire shoot, but I was still able to direct and get images that we both loved! I often demonstrate poses for my models so it works out either way. So happy with the results!

ORIANA // SOHO, NYC

As some of you may know, I moved to New York one month ago from Miami! and I been so fortunate to meet and work with such amazing people already. You probably can’t tell by the photos but it was VERY cold lol. I had so much fun shooting with Oriana, Thank you for freezing with me. Also, can we obsess over these photos? EIRENE IN THE FALL // NEW YORK CITY

I am so in love with how these photos turned out, the location and weather were absolutely perfect…well except that Eirene was freezing and doing jumping jacks to stay warm (lol). Also, this is a day that was supposed to rain hence how cloudy it was but made for perfect moody photos and we got no rain! Also, no people made it easy to do an outfit change in public hehe. I loved working with Eirene, I am super grateful to connect with amazing people doing what I love - but enough about that. Let’s check out this Queen who totally served and helped me deliver these.

LAVENDER DREAMS W/ MADI - MOTEL EDITION

I love working with Madi because she lets me have full creative control! A lot of inspiration for this shoot came from Gucci, I love their Editorials. As always it was so fun shooting and we did not get kicked out of anywhere 🙏🏼 I booked an old Motel in Miami which was perfect for the photos we wanted (could not sleep there though lol). STUDIO SESSION WITH MADI // MIAMI,FL

Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking the time to be here :) Firstly, shooting with Madison is always super fun. I love how she’s always willing to go along with my creative ideas (Thank you Madi for letting me spray you with water, sorry about the mascara in your eye….lol. I also want to say I am obsessed with the wet hair look….thinking of just doing this look for all shoots….JK hehe. This studio session was in my very own living room right by a large sliding glass door (natural light is always a blessing) and having a model to worth with obv hehe. Well, that’s all for now…. IZZY IN RED // MIAMI,FL

Here is to my first shoot of 2021! Working with Izzy is always so much fun and we both agree shooting with me is like a workout lol holding poses a little too long sometimes (sorry hehe) I love the planning process with Izzy because it always flows so well from choosing the outfits to the make up (She slays the make up…always). How stunning is this red suit though? Would you believe it was a thrift find? from the thrift Queen herself (Izzy loves to thrift) I had scouted this location in Hollywood, FL long ago and finally got to shoot here! Luckily there were no crowds (we are still amidst a pandemic here) Well, hope you all like this set and please stay safe!

MADISON // SUNRISE, FL

Oh hi there! Want to know why this shoot was definitely different from others….because it was amidst a worldwide pandemic, you know COVID-19. We felt like we were sneaking out into the town hehe (nervous laugh). It's not common to find a rooftop parking lot totally empty! and we didn't get kicked out of any location (also common when shooting) I guess that’s what happens when you leave your house during Quarantine….which you shouldn’t, I am not promoting it. IZZY // COCONUT CREEK, FL

Really glad I get to create with people that sometimes I just meet the day of the shoot. Izzy was amazing, from the moment she contacted me we instantly connected and started sharing ideas. She has everything you can think of for a shoot, probably even more than me (style queen haha) made my job so easy! Also want to point out that the tennis racket used goes for 50+ online (used) and I found it for 3 bucks at a thrift store! For a while now I wanted to do a fashion / sports editorial style shoot and here it is. Hope you enjoy these!

ALEJANDRA & TREVON // FT.LAUDERDALE, FL

Had a fun mini session with my friends near the hotel we stayed in for the weekend for another shoot we had earlier this day! These two love birds are in a long distance relationship and see each other almost every weekend, dedication right?

I loved shooting with them and spending all weekend watching movies and creating together.

SOFI // FORT LAUDERDALE, FL

I loved teaming up with my good friend and also photographer Trevon to shoot the same model, Sofi. Our concept was “2 photographers 1 model”. We took turns shooting, sometimes assisting each other or making suggestions but for the most part giving each other space to work individually with our model.

Trevon shoots film and I digital so it will be interesting to see his perspective once he develops the film (make sure to check out his work, just click on his name!). Even though we got kicked out of not one but two locations it forced us to think of new ideas and created good challenges.

I loved this shoot and highly recommend to get creative with your friends! Sofi is an amazing model who was open to all our creative ideas. Anyways, if you are still reading, thank you! Without further ado, here are my photos of Sofi.

MADISON // DEEERFIELD BEACH, FL

Is it even a photoshoot if you don't get kicked out of at least one location? Madison and I were getting into the zone with the first few photos when a security guard drove up telling us we couldn't be there. Unexpected to me we left to plan b location. However, I was determined for the shoot to happen at the warehouse we got kicked out of. Luckily Madison agreed we would return to this “prohibited” place. An hour or so went by while shooting elsewhere and we headed back. I noticed the security guard was still there but in his car so I drove to the next parking lot while Madison changed all while holding my camera hehe. I parked the car and we both ran out to quickly continue our session (haha) It felt like a Marathon but we managed to get a few more shots. A Back up plan is always a must! (I think so anyway) even though driving around looking for locations is also fun. While we didn't get to explore the initial location like planned, I was so happy with how it all turned out! Here are the images with no noticeable desperation on Madisons face, of us sneaking around looking out for a security guard. I love what I do and clients who are always up for some fun, perhaps even more fearless than me :D

This is Cyenne, we met via Instagram! She messaged me sometime last year expressing her interest in my photos which made me overjoyed. So, after sharing ideas back and forth we finally were able to schedule a shoot and today we met at Target. I know, you're probably thinking Target?? but don't worry we also had a second location which shall not be named since we got kicked out or whatever (haha) yes, true story. Here is what Cy and I created down grocery store aisles and parking lots. Not only am I stoked for these photos but I am eternally grateful to have met such a lovely soul today.

A BAND CALLED JAIALAI // STUDIO SESSION // MIAMI,FL

Recently I got to hang with a great band called Jaialai while they rehearsed for one of their upcoming shows. It's not my first time photographing these guys but it was a first time in on a studio session which I was really excited about. We first wandered the streets of Miami while it was still light out, so we could get some shots.I then got to photograph them in their most natural element, where they create their magic. JORDAN // PORTAIT SESSION // DEERFIELD BEACH, FL

This is my beautiful friend Jordan who I had so much fun photographing. She’s an actress and even shared some tips with me during our session that she picked up with other photographers. Team work and non stop laughter from start to finish! As much as I love the sun, the day was partly cloudy which admittedly I was excited about, because who doesn't love soft natural lighting. Oh, and puppies. (Need I say more?) It was a blast driving around and looking for spots to shoot at. All photos were taken in nearby neighborhood parks and random sidewalks with pretty trees. A SMALL INTIMATE SHOW WITH DENUDES // HOLLYWOOD,FL

This was such a great show and has become one of my favorite. Surrounded by friends and family in a small crowded cafe, everyone gathered around Denudes while they set up to play. They made it seem effortless, performing in such a tight space. I was not even five feet away from the band so it was definitely a challenge to move around and capture shots like I normally would when they are on stage. The energy that night was incredible. JACKIE AND SHANNON // ENGAGEMENT SESSION // MIAMI, FL

This session was special because I got to photograph my friends. Admittedly, I knew I wanted to share their story the moment they got engaged so I was dancing with excitement when Jackie reached out to me about photographing her engagement. Jackie led us to the location by memory and I am happy we headed there. As I remember it, The day was super hot! luckily there was enough shade to not only keep cool but to allow for natural soft lighting. There were lots of laughs and the day filled with love. Being surrounded by nature and great friends sharing their love story and allowing me to capture the moments is one of the many things I love about photography.
